In memory of
Thomas Cook
died April 16, 1872;
Aged 41 yrs 8 mos & 24 days.

Then grieve not, tho he tread no more
The weary path of life with thee
He is not lost but gone before
For ever with his Lord to be:
Let not thine eye with tears be dim
Grieve not since it is well with him

The same dear Jesus liveth yet
And then as he shall entrance gain
If plunging in the fountain set
Still open for sins carry stain:
Cast far away each lingering doubt
Whom did the Saviour far cast out.
